Call for Nominations: 2026 Nominet Non-Executive Director Election

Nominations for our Non-Executive Director election are now open. 

Are you interested in helping Nominet, the guardians of .UK, deliver our strategy? 

Since 1996, we’ve been at the heart of the UK’s internet. Our Non-Executive Directors play a vital role in Nominet’s long-term success – providing independent oversight, constructive challenge and scrutiny of executive management. 

This year, we’re seeking one member-elected director to join our Board – with the successful candidate securing a three-year term. The new NED will help oversee delivery of the strategy agreed by the Board in 2025. They will bring valuable independent perspective, industry experience and ensure the views of members are properly reflected in Board discussions. 

Nominet members propose individuals to stand for election, and the person standing doesn’t need to be a Nominet member. However, only members can propose, second and vote.
