Are you .UK Standardisation ready?
To be ready for .UK Standardisation, registrars should review five key areas ahead of the transition on 9 February 2027.
Each area may affect your systems, processes, customer communications, or operational teams, so it is important to understand what applies to your organisation and take action in good time.
The five areas to look at are:

Domain lifecycle: check how your systems and customer journeys handle renewals, expiries, recovery, deletion, and your choice of auto-renew or auto-delete model.

Domain transfers: understand the new transfer process and make sure your teams and systems can support the updated requirements.

Contract compliance: review the updated agreements, policies, and registrar requirements so you can identify any changes needed to your own contracts, reseller arrangements, operational processes, or staff training.

Dragon Domain Manager: familiarise yourself with the new interface and understand how your teams will use it to manage .UK domains after transition.

Registrant support: review how you support registrants, including customer information, escalation routes, and any changes to terms, processes, or support materials.
