Nominet has published a report and online timeline featuring the defining moments of its success to celebrate 25 years of the World Wide Web.

The report, written by technology journalist Jack Schofield, includes expert commentary on how the web will develop in future from the CEO of W3C Dr Jeff Jaffe, University of Southampton’s Sir Nigel Shadbolt, as well as our CTO Simon McCalla and CEO Lesley Cowley.

We also commissioned a poll to better understand the public perception of the web with half (46%) of Brits saying best thing the web was the ability to quickly find answers to questions.
