As a public benefit organisation, Nominet is driven by a vision to shape a safer, more interconnected and inclusive world. One of the ways we bring this to life is through the Members’ GiveHub.
Led by members, for members, this initiative allows you to give back to a cause that matters to you and harness technology as a force for good.
About the Members’ GiveHub
Since its introduction in 2022, the initiative has become a core part of the membership offer.
Apply for up to £10,000/year towards a project that helps to improve lives through technology.
Beneficiaries can include organisations or charities registered in the UK.
why apply to the Members’ GiveHub?
As a Nominet member, you’re among the most digitally connected individuals and organisations in the UK, working at the forefront of the internet. We know you see first-hand both the opportunities and challenges the online world poses. That’s why you’re uniquely placed to recognise where the gaps are – and who could benefit from a helping hand.
Here’s why you should get involved:
- Lack of access to technology and devices can leave vulnerable people behind. With your support, we can help more people in need.
- Like us, you believe the internet should be a force for good: enriching communities, creating opportunities and lasting positive change.
- You share our belief that everyone should have the opportunity to develop the digital skills and confidence to benefit from the online world.
- You want to help organisations build digital tools and programmes that make the online world safer, fairer, and accessible for all.
- Because great ideas and intentions alone can’t transform our communities; valuable causes require meaningful funding and support.

Case Study
Hulme Grammar School
An initiative to boost education and inclusion in the Oldham area, has received a £10,000 funding boost, thanks to Nominet member Peter Savic, Director at Plum Communications.
“We’re thrilled to have received funding from Nominet GiveHub towards our outreach partnership programme. Almost 40% of residents in Oldham experience some form of digital exclusion. Through a partnership with Oldham Athletic FC, Hulme Grammar will engage with local schools, businesses, and community groups. This funding is going to help us purchase much needed equipment and give us the resources to engage and inspire young people in our community.”
– Marc Hornby, Director of Development & Public Benefit at Hulme Grammar and Martin Vose, Head of Community at Oldham Athletic Community Trust
