Building Digital Governance Together
This year’s UK Internet Governance Forum (UK IGF) will follow the same overall theme as the global IGF which took place in Lillestrøm, Norway in June 2025: “Building Digital Governance Together”.
Elaborating on responses to the Call for Issues and input from the UK IGF Multistakeholder Steering Commitee, this year’s event will include the following:
- Panel sessions on digital ID and children’s rights online in 2025
- An interactive workshop on AI Ethics
- A lightning talk on power asymmetries in Tech
- An interactive session on digital fragmentation from a user perspective
- An update on progress of the 20-year review of the UN World Summit on the Information Society, and what comes next
We will provide ongoing updates on the agenda and speakers, so look out for further information.
This year’s UK IGF will be taking place on Thursday 11th December, between 09:00 – 17:00 followed by drinks and networking at Kings Place, London.
