In 1996, when Nominet was founded, we managed 26,000 domains.
We now manage 10.4 million .UK domains.
Since 1996, 50 million unique domains have been registered.

We funded The Lucy Faithfull Foundation’s Project Intercept, which has shown 70 million warning messages to deter people searching for child sexual abuse imagery – prompting 700,000 to seek help.
We’ve delivered 685,000 micro:bits to over 22,000 primary schools as part of our Micro:bit Next Gen partnership in 2024.
75+ successful grants through the Members’ GiveHub since 2022.
We’ve donated £5.1 million to the UK Safer Internet Centre, which runs Safer Internet Day.
